About SeekHigherThings
A research effort to build the last computer. Looking for collaborators, researchers, and believers.
The Mission
SeekHigherThings exists for one purpose: to build a new kind of computer where AI doesn't write software — AI is the software. We believe the stored program paradigm that has defined computing for 80 years is reaching its end, and a fundamentally different architecture is possible.
This is not a business first. It's research first. We publish our thinking, our failures, and our progress in real time. The goal is to prove — or disprove — the thesis through rigorous experimentation.
The Approach
Build from first principles
We don't iterate on existing paradigms. We start from the question: what would computing look like if we designed it today, knowing what AI can do?
Research in public
All thinking, experiments, and progress documented in real time. The Lab is open. The thesis is published. The failures are visible.
Prove it with prototypes
Theory is necessary but insufficient. Every claim must be backed by a working demonstration, however rough.
Stay honest
If the thesis is wrong, we'll say so. If a pillar needs rethinking, we'll rethink it. The goal is truth, not confirmation.
Looking For
This is early-stage research. If any of this resonates, we want to hear from you:
- Researchers working on world models, real-time generation, or AI systems
- Engineers with experience in GPU programming, compiler design, or ML infrastructure
- Thinkers who've spent time on the philosophy of computation and software
- Anyone who looked at the state of software and thought: there has to be a better way
